Electricity:

The voltage in Vilnius is 220 volts (50hz).

A hair dryer is available in the apartment for your use.

If you will be using any personal appliances (hair dryers, electric shavers, clocks, etc.), please make sure that they are compatible with 220 voltage.

If necessary, for your North American appliances, bring a 220/240 to 110/120 volt transformer.  Such transformers are usually available at your local electronics shops, such as Radio Shack, Circuit City or shops specializing in travel.

Music:

A stereo system with a tuner, cassette deck, CD player and amplifier is available for your entertainment.

In apartment 6 speakers are located in the kitchen, bedroom living room and even bathroom.

Laundry:

A new modern automatic washing machine for your use is located within the apartment.

An iron and ironing board are also provided for your convenience.

Water:

The running water supply in the apartment is clean and potable, but many tourists prefer to buy bottled water, juices or other beverages during their stay.  There is a large selection of choices available in nearby shops and kiosks, both domestic and imported.

Kitchen:

A large refrigerator-freezer, natural gas oven-stove(A), microwave oven(B), pots, pans, kitchen utensils, water boiler, dishes, glasses and silverware and much more are available for your use.

With a few exceptions, most restaurants, diners and cafes are moderately priced compared to the equivalent in other western countries, so many guests simply choose to eat out for their meals.
